Let me tell you a little bit about myself.

​

I’ve been in love with books my entire life. I was the girl who would rather curl up with a book than go outside to play, and I thought a trip to the library was better than going to Disneyland. I really haven’t changed that much—I’ve still never been to Disneyland, and working as an editor and an author, I’m immersed in books every day.

​

I’m absolutely in love with language and the way it can influence, inspire, educate, and uplift. That’s what I hope to give my editing clients—the knowledge that their words are valuable, and that the way we use words can change lives.

I’m also absolutely in love with Matt, my husband of thirty years. Together with our four young-adult children, we live in beautiful southeastern Idaho, where we are surrounded by mountains and blue skies and deer. And, unfortunately, skunks. So many skunks in Idaho. I don’t care for skunks.

I do, however, care for chocolate, tacos, good movies, long naps, laughing, volunteering in my community, spending time with my family, instigating shenanigans, doing paper crafts, and soaking up every beautiful moment life has to offer.
